Nancy Grey

Nancy A. Grey (nee Weber), 57, of Wonder Lake, died suddenly, Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry.
She was born February 9, 1956, in Corona, CA, to Robert and the late Carolyn (nee Kingery) Weber. Nancy married Thomas A. Grey on September 25, 1976.
Nancy was a master quilter, who enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bird watching, and sitting on her deck enjoying nature. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will forever be remembered for her generosity to her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, survivors include her children, Matthew (Kristine) Grey of Hebron and Elizabeth (Adam) Hogan of Woodstock; grandchildren, Alexzander Grey, and Connor, Camryn, and Clayton Hogan; father, Robert (Mimi Soper) Weber of McHenry; sisters, Karen (Stephen) Belke of Crystal Lake and Laura (John) Grey of Crystal Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Carolyn, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Weber; and maternal grandmother, Helen Kingery.
The visitation will be from 3-9 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 2, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nancy's name may be made toward the future education of her four, wonderful grandchildren.
