VILLAGE OF LAKEWOOD—Nancy A. Olson (nee Pepper),69, of the Village of Lakewood, passed away under hospice care Sunday, December 2,2012, with her family at her bedside.

She was born August 5,1943, in Chicago, to Charlotte (nee Schauer) and the late Richard Pepper.  On August 17,1963, she married her beloved husband, Brian Olson.

For many years, Nancy was an insurance broker who started her own company, Designed Benefit Plan Consultants.  She was the president of the McHenry County Life Underwriters Association from 1979-1980.

After retiring, Nancy devoted much of her time to her love of crafting and knitting, at which she was very talented.  She loved spending time with her many friends and family.

In addition to her husband and mother, Nancy is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Dace) Olson; and by brothers, David and Mike Pepper.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Olson.

At Nancy’s request, the memorial service will be private.  The Olson family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness.
