Natalie Dawn Buckley-Burgess

Natalie Dawn Buckley-Burgess, affectionately known as "Nat” or “Nattie” to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, at the age of 54.

Born in Sheffield, England, on October 31, 1969, she was the cherished first-born daughter of George and Sylvia Buckley.

Nat’s journey through life was marked by her devotion to her family, her dedication to caring for and teaching young children, and her unwavering kindness.

Nat met the love of her life, William Burgess, in Sheffield and spent 31 years together, 28 years married.

She was the beloved Aunty Nat to Calla, Tyler, and Mia. She leaves behind 6 brothers and sisters: Sarah, Nicole, Matthew, Timothy, Rachel and Simon. She also leaves extended family and in-laws: Jim, Doris, Susie and Anna, as well as Aunty Sue and Uncle Neil, all of whom will deeply miss her most kind, loving spirit and generous heart.

Nat had an innate ability to make everyone feel loved. She will forever be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Natalie's life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 4 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich. Friends may gather at the funeral home at 2:30 PM until the time of service.
