Noelle Zajac

Noelle Elizabeth Zajac, 17, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Woodstock, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015.

She was born May 25, 1997, in Hoffman Estates to Juliana (nee Hohertz) and Nicholas Zajac.

Noelle was a staunch vegetarian and animal lover. She enjoyed playing basketball and was on the basketball team at Crystal Lake South High School. Noelle was a very selfless person and will always be remembered for her infectious laugh.

Survivors include her parents, Juliana Zajac of Crystal Lake and Nicholas Zajac of Chicago; siblings, Sarah, Jessica and Justin Zajac of Crystal Lake; grandparents, Catherine and Rolf Hohertz of Green Oaks and Tom and Judy Fahey of Chicago; great-grandfather, James Grigsby of Grayslake; aunts, Laura (Richard) Dickens of Crystal Lake and Theresa (Michael Hathaway) Barber of Beach Park; and cousins, Abigail and Rachel Dickens and Danielle Barber.

The memorial visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, from 2-9 p.m., with a eulogy service at 7 p.m., at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Inurnment will be private.
