"",Norbert “Norb” Sand,86, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Saturday, June 11,2011, in Woodstock, IL.
Norb was born in Chicago, IL, to Joseph and Henrietta Sand.
Norb was an employee for 45 years of S&C Electric Company, Chicago. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Rosemary (nee Wicklas); children, Martin (Lori) Sand, Susan (Kevin) Fegan and Joseph Sand; grandchildren, Sydney Sand, Emily Fegan and Liam Fegan; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Joseph Sand and Charles Sand.
Visitation will be held from 4-9pm, on Tuesday June 14 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, on Wednesday, June 15 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton, 1023 South McHenry Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
Burial will be private.
