Norma Knox

Norma Susan Hiller Knox, age 82 of Monroe, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in South Beloit. She was born on August 20, 1932 in Ringwood, IL, the daughter of Leo and Mary (nee Schmitt) Hiller. She graduated from high school in McHenry, IL. Robert W. Knox Sr. and Norma were married on January 27, 1951 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Johnsburg, IL. Norma and her husband Bob farmed in the McHenry, Crystal Lake and Monroe area all of their lives. Norma was a very dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She was a member of Monroe’s St Victor Catholic Church and also worked for Colony Brands in Monroe for 17 years before retiring.

Norma is survived by her children, Michael Knox of Monroe, WI, Judy (Kenneth) Stoerp of Huntley, IL, Janet Weidner of Lake Barrington, IL, Theodore Knox of Monroe, WI, Timothy (Cheryl) Knox of Monroe,WI, Mary (Alan) Hafferkamp of Rockton, IL, Robert W. (Kelly) Knox Jr. of Monroe, WI, Annette (Chris) Adrian of Rolling Meadows, IL; grandchildren, William (Megan), Jordan, Kaytlyn, Lauren, Steven, Morgan, Kristine, Jenny, Jordyn, Noah and Ayshia Knox, Nicole (Spencer) Huard, Jamie (Chris) Akens, James (Alicia) Weidner, Brittany and Blake Hafferkamp, Cassie and Melissa Adrian, James (Jen), David (Lacy) and Jessica Stoerp; great-grandchildren, Chase, Oliver, Justin and Jevin Stoerp, Cory and Molly Huard, Abby Moore and soon to be twin boys Akens; her sister, Grace (Donald) Bentz of Apache Junction, AZ; and brother Lee (Bernadette) Hiller of McHenry, IL; special friends, Shirley Knox, Carol Knox, Renea Knox, Vern Weidner, and Sara Harvel.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; sons, Joseph and James; parents, and brother, Paul Hiller.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 9:00am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd, Huntley, Illinois 60142 with Father Stephen Knox as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, Illinois.

A memorial fund is being established in Norma’s memory.
