Pamela Hidding

June 16, 1955 — March 28, 2016

Pamela Hidding, 60, of Barrington Hills was born June 16, 1955 in Chicago to Norbert Bork and MaryAnn (nee Mule) Ladubec. She passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016.

Pamela would like to let you know that her work is done here. She received "the" call... she will be returning in spirit only. Pamela is now reunited with family and friends that she has not seen in a long time. She is in a special place where she is enjoying the things she loves; she will be cooking, dancing, gardening, performing in plays and reading to her hearts content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Loved ones she leaves behind want her to know that she did an amazing and unprecedented job as a wife, mother, daughter and friend. We will always remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, and her love for life, family, friends, dogs, cats, and her horses. She loved her travels with Doug, Kyle, and the many friends that she also traveled with to exciting destinations. Cooking was one of her many passions and talents. She made a great difference in the lives of many. She departed with dignity and grace surrounded by family and friends who loved her more that words can express. Pam so loved to entertain her friends and family at home. She truly will be missed.

She was also a member of the Little Garden Club of Barrington, PTO, as well as the Barrington Play Readers Group. Pam enjoyed being a licensed cosmetologist.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Hidding; her son, Kyle; her parents; and her brothers, Edward and Kenny Bork.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 31st from 3pm - 9pm, at 412 Caesar Dr., Barrington Hills. Pam loved fashion. (Please dress comfortably with a splash of color if you have it). A Catholic funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 1st with visitation at 9:30am until time of funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Anne Parish, 120 Ela St., Barrington. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, Pamela's family requests donations in her name to the Midwest Council for Children with Disabilities (MCCD), 301 High Grove Blvd., Glendale Hts, IL 60139
