Patricia Claire Jones

Patricia Claire Jones, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 4, 2021 at the age of 83.

She was born February 5, 1938 in Winamac, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lorraine Claire (nee Hope) Heinzelman and Lawrence Raymond Walsh.

Patricia was a first grade teacher for 20 years primarily in District 15 where she loved teaching children to read. A devout Catholic, Pat attended Mass regularly and was also a religious educator. She enjoyed reading and playing bridge, and above all was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and daughter.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Norman; her beloved children, Denise (Rick) Luksetich, Diane (Eric) Stratton and Debbie (Bob) Struck; her cherished grandchildren, Eric, Adam, Jack, Danielle, Jamie, Logan, Lyla and Brooke; and her loving brother, David Walsh.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 9, from 4-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 10, at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, 1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine.
