Patricia Ann (Murtaugh) Kacer

Patricia Ann Kacer, 69, Village of Lakewood, passed away Thursday morning, November 29, 2018.

She was born to Lawrence and Eleanor (Speciale) Murtaugh on December 13, 1948, in Chicago.

Pat is survived by her husband of 40 years, Theodore Jost.  She leaves as her legacy four children, Scott Kacer of Crystal Lake, Jason Kacer (Michele) of Harvard, Jennifer (Jost) Smith (Karl) of Crystal Lake and Ted Jost of Crystal Lake and five grandchildren, Kenny Froehlig, Jacob Kacer, Joshua, Cullen and Reagan Smith.  She also leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Rosemary Hoggan (George); her aunt, Elizabeth Anderson; and nephew, Aaron Hoggan.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; uncle, Bill Anderson; and nephew, Adam Hoggan.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4th from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 9:30am until prayers at 10:30am  then processing to an 11am mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.   Father Jerome Koutnik will be officiating.
