Patricia Kocourek

Patricia Ann “Pat” Kocourek (neeThell), 74 of Barrington Hills

Born July 23, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Henry and Romaine (nee Mecha) Thell, she passed away peacefully August 27, 2012 at Pepper Family Hospice in Barrington, Illinois surrounded by her family.

Patricia was a valuable member of the Barrington community and an avid supporter of Good Shepherd Hospital. She had a keen eye for decorating and her homes reflected her talent.  Pat also enjoyed designing her various flower gardens making sure they were not only beautiful but also unique. She loved people and had the gift of making everyone she met feel instantly at ease and comfortable. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Pat was the beloved wife for 53 years to Wayne, loving mother of Michael (Kathleen) Kocourek,  and Pam (Brian) Wehner,  grandmother of Gigi, sister-in-law of Monty (Karen) Kocourek, Betty (the late John) Gerndt,  and the late Tessie (the late William) Dobra and Connie (DeWayne) Doberstein;  daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Esther Kocourek, and cherished aunt and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial visitation will be 9:30am until the time of the memorial mass at 12pm Friday August 31 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington, Illinois.   Inurnment will be private.
