Patricia M. Linder, 85, of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away August 27, 2015 at the Fountains care facility in Crystal Lake. She was born October 13, 1929 to Edward and Violet (Bickley) Loftus in Chicago, Illinois.
Patricia graduated from the Angel Guardian High School in 1947 and continued her education later in life to become a certified substance abuse counselor. She married Norman J. Linder in Elgin, Illinois on September 2, 1950 and moved to Carpentersville, Illinois to raise a family. She had four children, Theresa, Glen, David and Daniel and is survived by her son David who resides in Crystal Lake.
She worked for over 28 years in the Elgin area as a substance abuse counselor for Community Concern for Alcohol and Drug Abuse and upon retirement to Albuquerque, New Mexico, operated a private practice.
She is survived by her sisters, Carol (LeSeuer) and Connie (Wilson); her son David; daughters-in-law, Cindy (Olmsted) and Deborah (Flynn); grandchildren, Amanda (Watson), Kelly (Robinson), Michael Linder and Jessica Linder; great grandchildren, Rylan (Robinson), Gage(Watson) and Brooklyn Linder; and many nieces and a nephews.
Her parents, her husband Norman, a daughter Theresa, and two sons, Glen and Daniel, preceded her in death.
A memorial visitation will be Tuesday, September 1 from 5 PM until the 6:30 PM memorial service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt 176) Crystal Lake.
