Patricia A. Williams

Patricia Anne (Kudla) Williams, 77, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2022.  She was born on August 12, 1944 in Mt. Prospect to John and Dorothy (nee Jueck) Kudla and was the loving sister of John Kudla.

Patti was a graduate of Carroll University (’66) and a proud sorority sister of Chi Omega.  After graduation she became a kindergarten teacher in Mt Prospect School District 57.  She was also very active in different philanthropic groups such as P.E.O and the Palatine Women’s Club.  Patti enjoyed spending time in her bowling league and golf league…and even hit a hole in one at Palatine Hills Golf course! She took great pride in her beautifully landscaped yard and enjoyed her morning cup of coffee on the deck in her swing.  She always took time to smell the roses.

Her post teaching life found her enjoying Nichole and Neil’s many activities and sports teams.  Patti could be seen driving around Palatine in her mini van with the license plate “Socrmom”.

Through being a mother/team mom/class mom/aunt/friend/nana, Patti touched many lives.  She will be remembered by many for many different things, but most of all her love for flowers, arts and crafts, chocolate chip mickey mouse pancakes, and playing catch in the backyard before school in her nightgown.

Patti was married for 49 years to her husband Larry Williams (passed Nov ’20).  Patti and Larry were longtime residents of Palatine, IL and then moved to Cary in 2013.  She is survived by her two children, Nichole (Steve) and Neil (Gina); her grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Claire, and Ethan.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7th 2022 at 12pm with visitation beginning at 10am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake.
