Patricia "Pat" L. Tichnor

Patricia "Pat" L. Tichnor, wonderful wife and loving mother, died peacefully Saturday evening on October 27, 2018 at the age of 82.

She was born August 31, 1936 in Fresno, California to Gerald and Alyce Ahern. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harry, her daughters Linda (Bruce) Bartolucci, Laura (Jim) Barnes and Melissa Tichnor, sister Betty Fitzpatrick, grandchildren Taryn Bartolucci, Jay Bartolucci, Jake Barnes and Haley Barnes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carole Ahern and her brother-in-law John Fitzpatrick.

Pat had a passion for politics. She worked at the Cuba Township for 7 years, then became a legislative aide to State Representative Mark Beaubien. Pat loved reading, whether it was books or the newspaper, it did not matter. She was an avid baseball fan and would have been thrilled to know her beloved Dodgers made it to the World Series this year.

A celebration of her life will be held at Timothy O’Toole’s, 412 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville on November 17, 2018 from 12-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
