Patsy Schleif

Patsy “Patty” "Meme" Ann Schleif, 72, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on March 4, 2012.

She was born on December 6, 1939 in Elgin to Paul W. and Hazel Tessendorf.

Patty was known in the area for her infectious laugh, great smile, and her sense of humor. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time running, gardening, and working in her yard. Patty cherished the time that she spent with her granddaughter, Jordie, her family, and new friends that she made.

Patty is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Don Schleif; daughter Pamela “Pam” Schleif; granddaughter, Jordan Kohut; Tim Easlick, significant other to Pam; sister Bonnie (Ron) Nunes; and many loving nieces, nephew,s and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lamonte Tessendorf and her parents.

The memorial visitation will be from 1-5p.m., Saturday, March 10 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
