Paul David Jonas

Paul David Jonas, 50, of Cary passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born February 20, 1971 in Arlington Heights.

On April 16, 1999, Paul married Michelle Rivera in Arlington Heights.   After the wedding they moved to Boca Raton, FL for a few years before settling down in Cary to raise their family.  He was the proud father of three children, Tiffany, Alexa and Nate and his beloved Boxer dogs, Tyson and Sadie.

Paul was the successful business owner of Jonas Contracting and was also an amazing artist.  He had a love for boxing, boating and expensive “boy toys”. Paul had a passion for helping others throughout the community whether it be setting up for a youth football game, providing entertainment for the neighborhood, or simply being there for a fellow friend in need.  He will be missed by so many family and friends.

Paul is further survived by his mother, Donna Jonas; brother, Ken (Sheri) Jonas; sister, Keri Jonas; mother and father-in-law, Carmella and Bob Lowth; sister-in-law, Denise Hoppe; and nieces and nephews, Sam, Alana, Emily, Aidan, Camden, Cavan, Kerrigan, William, and Wesley.

He was preceded in death by his Grandma, Rose Ipsen and nephew, Evan Svec.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 19th, from 2pm until a Time of Remembrance service at 7pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.  The visitation will continue Monday morning, from 9am until 10am at the funeral home before proceeding to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 410 N First St., Cary, for mass at 10:30am.
