Paul Louis Napholz, age 27, of Chicago, Illinois, died unexpectedly on December 23, 2019. He was born and raised in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Paul was the beloved soul mate of Amanda Jaeger and devoted father to Sadie Evelynn Marie (5 years old) and Evelynn Althea Rae (22 months), loving son of Thomas and Brenda (Mull) Napholz, and brother of Steven (23) and Robert (21) Napholz.
Paul was a student at Harold Washington College and worked for Sopraffina Restaurant. He was also an ice hockey referee. Paul was a passionate man who loved music, learning, sports, his family and the underdog. He was a really good guy. He will be missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, from 4 pm until 8 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Paul’s funeral will be Friday, January 3, at 11:30 am with a time of a visitation starting at 10:30 am at First Church (formerly First United Methodist Church), 236 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake. Burial will be at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
