The funeral service for Paul John Schlueter, 54, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Don Wink will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, 610 S. Dundee Ave., Barrington.
There will also be a visitation from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, April, 16, at Lutheran Church of the Atonement.
Born April 28, 1959, in Port Huron, MI, he passed away from leukemia, Saturday, April 12, 2014, at University of Chicago Medical Center.
A graduate of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Paul was a Data Center Product Specialist at Cisco Systems and a 20-year Mason and member of the Barrington Lodge. He enjoyed hunting at his cabin in Michigan and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife, Julie (nee Pearson); children, Anna (fiancé Rudy Supanich), Ian, and Elizabeth Schlueter; parents, Paul and Mary Ann (nee Vincent) Schlueter; sisters, Chris (Robert) Rosenbaum and Susan (Dennis) Cichoski; brother, David (Brenda) Schlueter; and 10 nieces and nephews.
