Pauline Kaufman

Pauline Kaufman, 85, of Lake Barrington, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Barrington. She was born July 24, 1930 in Evanston to Bernard and Elizabeth (nee Berens) Wettengel.

Pauline was involved in various women’s clubs throughout her life and formed many lasting friendships. Her biggest love was her family; she was a wonderful mother and very proud grandmother. She will be remembered as a kind, loving, friendly woman who was always smiling.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Greg) Sagan, Marie (Tony) Krzysko, and Tom (Missey) Kaufman; her grandchildren, Danny, Matt, John, A.J., Marissa, Sam, Jake, and Mike; and her brother, Joe Wettengel.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Kaufman; her siblings, David Wettengel, Anne Cwiklinski, and Donna Schaeffer.

Visitation will be held from 10am until time of funeral Mass at 11am, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. Interment at All Saints cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org/illinois.
