Peggy Ann Wapotish, 86, of Barrington, IL passed away on August 27, 2017 in Libertville, IL.
Visitation and Funeral service will be held at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL 60010 on September 2, 2017 at 10 AM. Burial to follow at Wauconda Cemetery with Pastor Jana Chwalisz officiating.
Peggy was born in Gate City, VA to Warner and Marie McCellan on September 29, 1930. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, antiquing and playing cards with friends as well as time at the cottage in Wisconsin with Joe. Most of all she loved taking care of her three boys and loving husband.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Charles Wapotish.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Ron (Jill) of Lakemoor, IL, Tom of Wauconda, IL and Gary (Tanya) of Tower Lakes, IL; grandchildren, Brett, Kendal, Jessica, Brian, Devinne and Dakota; great-grandchildren, Declan, Quinn, Harrison and Brooks.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the friends and family for their love and support. The great staff at Condell Hospice Center for the wonderful care given to Mom during her stay. To Davenport Family Funeral Home for their supportive professional guidance, and to Pastor Jana Chwalisz for her spiritual guidance during our time of need.
