Peter Berezuk

Peter D. Berezuk, 70, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2016. He was born on February 13, 1946 in Buffalo, New York to Peter E. and Anna (nee Lewicki) Berezuk.

Peter attended Murray State University at Murray, Kentucky and Canisius College in Buffalo, New York and received degrees in chemistry and business administration. He worked as a research chemist, primarily with paints, glues and coatings. Peter was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving aboard the USS Independence from 1970-1974. He was an avid golfer, photographer and played the saxophone.

Peter will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Jean (nee Sullivan); children, Peter Max (Kimberlee) and Matthew (Valerie) Berezuk, grandchildren, Timothy, Emily, Olivia, Ella, and Cameron Berezuk; great-grandson Roman; siblings, Barbara (William) Sukman, Greg (Susan) Berezuk, Sandra Bealer. Many loving nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Michael and by his parents.

A memorial service is planned for Peter David Berezuk at 10:00am on Saturday July 9, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church located at 3275 Elmwood Avenue, Kenmore, NY 14217. A luncheon Reception afterwards will occur at Manzella's Restaurant at 11:30am located at 3374 Delaware Ave,Tonawanda, NY 14217

The internment of remains will be at Bath National Cemetery on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
