Peter G. O'Grady

Peter G. O’Grady, 63, of Crystal Lake, was born on June 11, 1954 to Peter E. and the late Dorothy O’Grady and passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Peter was the loving father of Peter P., Gillian, Harley and Colton O’Grady; brother of Rosemary, Anne, Susan, Julia, and the late Paul E. O’Grady; cherished friend of many. Peter was a real people person; everyone always went to him for advice. He always stood for what was right. Peter was family oriented and a devout Catholic. His favorite hobby was riding motorcycles. He was also a proud member of the Lincoln Riders MC. Visitation for Peter will be held on Friday, September 29, from 3pm until 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake. On Saturday, September 30, visitation will continue at the funeral home at 9:30am with prayers said at 10:30am, proceeding to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, for Mass at 11:00am. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Huntley.
