Lake Barrington, Illinois, formerly of Brooklyn, New York,Mass of Christian Burial for Peter ""Joe"" Sherman, 88, of Lake Barrington, will be held Monday, January 24, 2011, at St. Anne Church, corner of Franklin and Ela Streets, Barrington, where he will lie in state from 10am. until the time of Mass. Father Fred Licciardi will officiate, Born February 11, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York, he passed away peacefully January 20 2011, at his home. His survivors include his beloved daughter, Rosemary (John) Berquist; dear grandchildren, Meg Berquist and Anne Berquist. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Rose Sherman. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010
