Biography Born January 12, 1932 in Pontiac, MI, passed away peacefully July 29, 2014 in Barrington, surrounded by her loving family.
Phyllis was an entrepreneur, she owned and operated a clothing boutique in Mundelein, and a travel agency in Highland Park. She enjoyed traveling, taking several cruises with her beloved husband Ray.
Phyllis is survived by her children; Margaret Kampsen and Michael (Ann) Kampsen, grandchildren; Nicholaus and Kelsey, and brother Dan (Marilyn) Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raymond, her parents Marie and Lynn Hamilton, and sisters Bernice and Joyce.
Memorial visitation will be 3pm until the time of the memorial service at 6pm, Friday August 8, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601.
