Ralph A. Reporto

Ralph A. Reporto of Huntley passed away peacefully at his home October 10, 2021.  He was born December 10, 1959 in Chicago to Alfred and Violet Reporto.

Ralph was a graduate of Western Illinois University and was employed at an Insurance Technology company as Vice President of Sales.  He spent many days playing softball along with his siblings and best friends on the Coasters team.  Ralph enjoyed the time he spent coaching the Leinenkugel Classics softball team.  He married Ann Marie Fragale and had a daughter, Katie, who was delighted to dance with her dad at her wedding October 2. They later divorced and Ralph met and married Lisa Shepherd and had three sons, Jack, Frank, and Joseph.  Forever the coach, he loved coaching the boys in little league.  On his last day Ralph was thrilled to watch Jack and Joey win their last baseball game of the season.  He will be truly missed.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Lisa; children, Katie (Griffin) Curcio; and Jack, Frank, and Joseph Reporto; siblings, Diane (Gary) Kumpf, Pete (Susan) Reporto, Fred (Mary) Reporto, Janine (Bill) Fackler, and Ron Reporto.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 9am until the funeral service at 11:30am, Friday, October 15 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made in the name of Lisa Reporto for the college funds for Jack, Frank and Joseph.
