Ralph John Trede

Ralph John Trede, 83, of Huntley, IL died peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

Beloved husband of Janet (nee Steltzer) Trede, loving father of Cindy Trede, Chris (Whitney) Trede, and Lori (Mike) Eschenbaum; loving grandpa to Jordan (Jenny) Klobusnik, Ryan Klobusnik (Michael Kushdilian); Isabel, Lucy and Grayson Trede; Scott (Linnea) Eschenbaum, Matt, Chris (Gina McCoy) and Sarah Eschenbaum; great-grandpa to Raylee Eschenbaum; brother to Warren (Marguerite) Trede and the late Robert (Theresa) Trede; uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Ralph was born May 31, 1935 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Harry Otto and Hazel Marie Trede.

Ralph graduated from Riverside High School in 1953, married his high school sweetheart Jan in 1955, attended Marquette University and graduated from University Wisconsin Milwaukee in 1959. He retired from Follett in 1999 after 33 years. His greatest joy was spending time with family and many wonderful friends.

Visitation will be held from 2pm – 6pm Sunday August 19 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.  The funeral service will be at 11am Monday, August 20 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1190 N. Hicks Road, Palatine.  There will be visitation at the church for one hour before the service.  Interment will be private.
