Raymond Allen Johnson

Raymond Allen Johnson, 77, of Prairie Grove passed away suddenly on October 30, 2021.  He was born on November 5, 1943 in Chicago to the late Arnold and Genevieve Johnson.

Ray was a skilled carpenter and built the beautiful family home entirely by himself.  He was not only a handyman, but a wise soul who was always willing to lend a hand, lend an ear, or share a word of wisdom.

Ray will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia (nee Babowice); sons, Thomas and Greg; sister, Janice (Terry) Steen; sister-in-law, Patricia Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Larocca and brother, Harold Johnson.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 6th, from 10am until the time of a service at 1pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
