Raymond John Roberts, 84, took his last breath peacefully, February 2, 2014. Born July 13, 1929, in Chicago.
Beloved husband of Elyse Meredith for 56 years; loving father of two children; grandfather of five and great-grandfather of two.
Graduate of Northwestern University. Raymond was an executive at Coilcraft Inc. for over 50 years.
Loving care was provided by Shula Kangombe, Stella Sisuku, Mary Chanda, Mary Burts, Imee De Guzman and Judy Mhuto.
Visitation for Raymond will be held Wednesday, February 5 and Thursday, February 6 from 4-8 p.m. each day at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington. Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 7 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 337 Ridge Rd., Barrington Hills.
Interment will be private.
