Reana L. Reher (nee Rehberg), age 70, entered into God’s Kingdom peacefully on April 5, 2025. She was born on June 17, 1954, to Lavern and Alice (Jurs) Rehberg.
Reana went to Hough Street School, Roselyn Road Elementary School, Barrington Middle School and graduated in 1972 from Barrington Consolidated High School. After graduating high school, she attended the American School of Beauty Culture in Des Plaines. After 1500 hours of school she took and passed the state board and became a licensed cosmetologist.
Reana held several jobs over the years. In October 1975 she began working for CF Industries in the Billing/Order Processing Department. After 38 years she retired in June 2013.
Reana met her future husband, Ron, in April of 1976 at the Ten Pin Bowling Alley in Barrington. They were married on May 21, 1977. On June 1, 1980, God blessed them with their son Eric who was their pride and joy.
Reana loved to travel thanks to her parents. Starting out as a child in a car towing a trailer, family vacations took her to every state west of the Mississippi visiting all the National Parks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Redwood and so many more. Stops were made along the way to visit family and friends. Travels with her husband Ron and son Eric took them to the Football and Baseball Hall of Fame, Niagara Falls, many attractions in Florida and visiting Reana’s high school friend Colleen in Tennessee. Reana’s trips she took with her friend Val (aka Thelma & Louise) were to Tennessee stopping in Nashville and then onto Gatlinburg to spend time in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, rubber stamping, crocheting, collecting and receiving owl figurines, I love Lucy memorabilia, and family pets.
Reana and Ron became members of Lord and Savior Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake in 2014. Since becoming members, Reana enjoyed working with the schoolteacher's preparing art and craft projects for the school and for Vacation Bible School. She also enjoyed bringing a dish to pass out for church gatherings. Thanks be to God for leading both Ron and Reana to Lord and Savior to hear His word and strengthen their faith.
Reana is preceded in death by her mom (2008), dad (2010), husband Ron (2020), sister (2021), as well as many family and friends.
A visitation for Reana will be held from 10am until the time of service at 1pm on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Burial to follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, IL.
