Crystal Lake, Illinois,Rebecca "Becky" Seip left this world on February 7, 2011 at the age of 46 after waging a courageous battle against cancer. Becky was born on November 13, 1964 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Letha Seip and the late F. David Seip. Becky is survived by her partner, Annemarie; her sister, Rachel (Don) Jones; niece Mackenzie and nephews Keegan and Kaden; as well as many relatives and a tribe of dear friends. After earning her degree in Secondary Education from Southern Illinois University, Becky enjoyed a successful career in early childhood development as a Family Home Daycare Provider ? earning accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 2010. She was fortunate, and the families she served were fortunate, to have cultivated a career doing what she loved. She also loved music, gardening, pets, camping, and Andy Griffith reruns. Becky was an extraordinary human with a great sense of humor and contagious laugh; she lived her life with quiet integrity and kindness towards others. She was an amazing woman, partner, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by so many. The visitation will be Friday, February 11, from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral at 7 p.m., at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, February 12, at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1002 Airport Rd., Bloomington, IL with a reception to immediately follow.
