Rebecca Aileen Struve, 35, of Algonquin, died, Wednesday, November 4, 2014, in Melrose Park.
She was born on September 16, 1979, to Alan Struve and Colleen Conway in Elk Grove Village.
Becky was a graduate of Crystal Lake South High School and earned a BS in Criminal Justice from University of Phoenix. Becky enjoyed anything she could do with her much loved son, Matthew. They especially enjoyed water sports – swimming, water skiing and tubing on the Fox River. Also, fun times at water parks together with her sister, Mandy.
Rebecca is survived by her loving son, Matthew Chiavetta; sister, Mandy Struve; father, Alan (Patricia Baldwin) Struve; mother, Colleen Conway; step-brother, Jeff Baldwin; grandmother, Genevieve Steagall; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorial visitation will be held from 11a.m., until the time of service at 2p.m., Saturday, November 15, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Matthew A. Chiavetta Education Fund, 1977 W. Crestview Cir., Romeoville, IL 60446.
