Reid A. Abernathy

Reid A. Abernathy, 76, of Hawthorn Woods, was born on April 1, 1945 to George and June Abernathy and passed away on April 21, 2021. Reid was the loving husband of Joyce for 45 years; dear brother of Myra (Greg) Kretschmer; and uncle, cousin and friend of many. Reid was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bruce Abernathy.

Reid will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, love of traveling, music, and being the life of the party. He achieved his dream of having a log home to share with his wife, friends and family.

Services will be held privately for family.
