Prairie Grove, Illinois,Renee Keenum Of Prairie Grove Renee Anne Keenum, 53 of Prairie Grove, was born December 17, 1957, in Buffalo Grove, and passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at her home. Renee was a well-loved teacher for over 30 years. She was a graduate of Illinois State University and earned her MA from St. Xavier University. Her son, Connor, was the joy of her life. Survivors include her son, Connor Keenum; mother, Irene (nee Firtko); siblings, Mark (Sue) Bencriscutto, Fred (Claudia) Bencriscutto, and Roxane (Mike Ciganovich) Bencriscutto; and niece and nephews, Michelle, Nick, and godson, Mike Bencriscutto. She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick. The visitation will be from 4-9 p.m., Thursday, March 17 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (IL Rt 176), Crystal Lake. The visitation will continue at St. Mary Parish, 10 N Buffalo Grove Rd. (at the corner of Lake-Cook Road), Buffalo Grove Friday, March 18 from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass.
