Crystal Lake, Illinois,REVA MAE HECKERT Reva Mae (Gardner) Heckert, 69, passed away peacefully with her children by her side Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Autumn Leaves in Crystal Lake after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Disease. She was born Nov. 10 1940 in Fairfield, Mich., to Gayle and Mary Gardner. She lived most of her life in Lenawee County. She worked at Bixby Medical Center as an LPN. After raising a family, she worked at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Uarco and Meijer. She will be dearly missed and loved always by her family. She is survived by four children, Mylinda (Mike) Cane of Schererville, Ind., Manette DeCremer of Crystal Lake, Mark (Jackie) Perry of Dimondale, Mich., and Michelle Perry of Chicago; a sister, Linda (Jimmy) Bushong of Somis, Calif.; two brothers, G. Glenn (Marlene) Gardner of Rochester, Mich., and Darrell (Janet) Gardner of Windermere, Fla.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Wagley Funeral Home, 1501 W. Maumee St., Adrian, Mich. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the funeral home. The Rev. Bruce Jewett will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery in Jasper, Mich., with a luncheon at Wagley Funeral Home.
