Rhonda E. Tichenor

Rhonda E. Tichenor, of Crystal Lake, passed away surrounded by her beloved family on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 68.

She was born June 22, 1950 in Chicago, the daughter of William and Ida (nee Andersen) Rollett.

Rhonda was an avid artist who derived a lot of her artistic inspiration from her beloved family and animals. Along with her love of animals she was a member with the Northern Illinois Dog Club. Rhonda was also a devout member of the Crystal Lake Christian Church.

Rhonda was a loving wife to Mike Tichenor; devoted mother to Lisa (Jeff) Boberg, Jason (Lisa) Maxwell, Chris Maxwell, and Courtney (Matt) Wagner; beloved Nana to Jakob Boberg, Yasi Maxwell, Melanie Boberg, Riley Maxwell, Kamden Maxwell, Ayden Wagner, Cole Maxwell, Madelyn Wagner, Chayse Maxwell, Ava Boberg, and Xavier Maxwell; and loving aunt to Billy Lonquist and Bonnie Bransky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Lonquist.

Friends are welcome to visit with Rhonda’s family on Friday, November 16, from 3:00 p.m. with a celebration of life beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
