Richard Curran

Richard Joseph Curran, 86, of North Barrington, died, Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at home.

He was born on May 14, 1928, to Richard H. and Vernitius Curran in Chicago.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dolores Curran (nee Badenoch); children, Richard J. Jr. (Sharon) Curran, Randall (Mardi) Curran, and Dr. Ronald (Nancy) Curran; grandchildren, Kelley, Ryan, Katie, Megan, Molly, McKenzie, Erin (John) Timur , Bryan (Anjuli), Sean, Brett, and Matthew Curran, and sister, Jean Schwitzenberg; nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Frank Schwitzenberg and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 3-7p.m., Sunday, March 15, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street, Barrington, IL 60010.

Visitation will continue from 9a.m., until 9:30a.m., Monday, March 16, at the funeral home, where a procession will form for a funeral service at 10a.m., at St. Michaels Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave., Barrington, IL 60010.

Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery following the funeral.
