Richard Jumbeck

Crystal Lake, Illinois,Richard "Rich" Jumbeck, 60 of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away March 30 2011, at his home in Crystal Lake. Rich was born on November 27, 1950 to Bernard and Minnie Jumbeck in Chicago, IL. For over 30 years, he worked in materials management at several manufacturing companies. Rich was an avid golfer and gardener and was known to his family as a handyman and woodworker. An enthusiastic HGTV viewer and power tool collector, he used his skills to create a fish pond in the backyard of his home, much to his and his family?s enjoyment. Rich was a selfless person who put the needs of others before his own, a true "class act". He took pleasure in celebrating with family and friends at get togethers. His survivors include his loving wife Dawn; children, Hilary "Fuzzer" Jumbeck, Tyler "Ace" Duffy, Connor "Goose" Duffy and Jeromy Jumbeck; grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha and Courtney Jumbeck; brothers, Bernard (Sandra) Jumbeck, Robert "Bobbo" (Trish) Jumbeck, Gerald "Little Jerry" Jumbeck, Eugene (Christine) Jumbeck, Kevin (David) Jumbeck; mother-in-law, Kaye Hahn, many loving family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, from 2-8 pm, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 East Terra Cotta Ave, (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL, 60014, with a service held at 5:30pm.
