Richard Kenneth Lathan

Richard K. Lathan, of Tower Lakes, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the age of 82.

He was born June 1, 1938 in Yonkers, NY, the son of the late Harold and Anne (nee Whaley) Lathan.

Richard was an account executive for International Paper Company for 35 years.

Richard loved debating politics, being current with the news, being his own handyman, being grounds chairman of Tower Lakes, and attending parties.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Felicia; his son, Robert Lathan; his sister-in-law, Sonia Lathan; his niece, Lauren Tewksbury; and his nephew, Jeffrey Lathan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Whaley Lathan.

A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 25225 W. Ivanhoe Rd,Wauconda, IL on June 24th with greetings at 2pm and service at 3pm. Burial will be in Whaleyville, MD at a later time.
