Rita Moran

Rita was born July 31, 1938 in Chicago; she passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb 9, 2012 in Barrington.

Rita was loving mother of Matt (Deanna) Moran, Mary (Victor) Katis, Terry (Carolyn) Moran,  Maureen (Mark Evans) Moran, and Patrick (Staci) Moran,"" beloved """"Nana"""" of Megan"", Seamus, Daniel, Kelly, Sean, Bridget, Victor, Jimmy, Shannon, Riley, and Aiden; dear sister of Jane (Jim) Fitzgerald, Rosalie (Tom) Beiner,  ary Jo (Wayne) Pelegrino; sister in law, Noel Reed and aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Matt Moran; parents, Joe and Genevieve (nee Murphy) Reed; brother, Bud Reed, and father and mother-in law, Matt and Veronica (nee Ruddy) Moran.

Rita loved and cherished her grandchildren. She was a very active member at St. Anne where she served on the Bereavement Committee, providing comfort and support to families planning their funeral masses.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-8pm at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (corner of Ela and Franklin Streets), Barrington.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, at the church, where she will be in state from 10 a.m. until the time of mass.  Interment will be private.

 In lieu of flowers donations made to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
