Rita O'Connell

Born April 6, 1938 in Chicago, Rita passed away at her home on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the age of 77.

Rita was a loving mother to her children, Kate O’Connell, Tracey (Pat) Whiting, Kevin (Estefany) O’Connell, and the late Megan O’Connell; cherished grandma Rita to Maddy Bozarth, Spencer and Carson Whiting, and Cole O’Connell; and beloved sister to Lu Carroll.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick O’Connell; and brother, Eugene Hynes.

A Memorial Mass for Rita will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St., Barrington, IL 60010. Visitation will be from 6:30pm until the time of Mass at 7:30pm.
