Robert Bailey

The graveside service for Robert David Bailey, 60, of Gilbert, AZ, formerly of Burlington, WI, will be held 1 p.m., Monday, June 8, at Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 12 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington, IL.
Born August 24, 1954, in Elgin, IL he passed away suddenly June 3, 2015 in Gilbert, AZ.
Bob was a 1972 graduate of Grayslake High School and worked for Nestle for 28 years, where he retired in 2012. He and Michelle were Den Leaders for Cub Scout Den 381 in Wheatland, WI when their boys were younger. Bob enjoyed gardening, computers, radio controlled helicopters and good food. He loved retirement!
Survivors include his wife, Michelle (nee Graham) Bailey, whom he married October 18, 1985 ; children, Robert J. Bailey of East Troy, WI, CMSgt Jamie (Yoko) Vanoss of Vacaville, CA, Brad Vanoss of Mew Munster, WI; grandchildren, Sayako ,Mayako and Cora Vanoss; brother-in-law, Charles Gillespie of Cayce, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley Bailey; and sister, Linda Gillespie.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cub Scout Den 381, c/o Christ Lutheran, 1208 West 14th St., Marshfield, WI 54449.
