Barrington, Illinois,The Mass of Christian Burial for Robert "Bob" Hansen, 71, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 6, in the original St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Rd., Mundelein (Fremont Center). Burial will be in St. Mary of the Annunciation Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the prayer service at 8 p.m., Thursday, May 5, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Born June 10 1939, in Chicago, he passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011, at the Pepper Family Hospice Home, Barrington. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor "Ellie" (nee Willems), whom he married February 23, 1974, in Schaumburg; children, Howard (Stacy) Hansen, Donna (Scott) Hallman, and Doug (Jennifer) Hansen all of Barrington; grandchildren, Mandy, Katy, Robert, and Alec Hansen, Melissa, Jessica, and Michael Hallman, and Tyler, Jenna, Kirra, and Tessa Hansen; siblings, Thomas (Adeline) Hansen of Chicago and Carol Sandmeyer of Fort Myers, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Marie (nee Fishbach) Hansen; and siblings, Ed, Howard, Joe, and James Hansen and Lorraine Hawkins.
