Robert D. Husemoller

Robert Husemoller, age 81 of Tower Lakes, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2017, beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Schweigert); cherished father of Candy (Jon Siess), Becky (Mark Kay), David (Peggy Wingo), and Paul (Gina); grandfather of nine; and brother of Dale Husemoller.  He is preceded in death by his brother Roger and his parents Oscar and Florence.

Bob served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Spangdalem Germany during the construction of the Berlin Wall and the Cuban Missile Crisis in the early 1960s.  He was a successful businessman, avid golfer, sportsman, fierce card player, and dedicated family man.

Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Friday, December 1, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook) Barrington.  Funeral services will be at 10am Saturday, December 2 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Avenue, Barrington.  There will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Burial in Windridge Memorial Park will follow the service.
