The memorial service for Robert Kenney, 91, will be held at 11am, Saturday, December 5, 2015 Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, IL 60010. Burial will be private in Glen Cemetery, Paxton, IL.
Robert was born February 16, 1924 in Paxton to the late Guy and Esther (nee Johnson) Kenney. He passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 in Barrington.
Mr. Kenney served as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Force during WWII. He enjoyed traveling, tinkering/building, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Mark (Debra) of Rio Rico, AZ, Craig (Therese) of Algonquin, and Bruce of Cary; and his grandchildren, Jessica (Paul) Holmer, Patrick (Abigail) Kenney and Paul Berg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Kenney’s name may be made to Lutheran Church of the Atonement, or the charity of your choice.
