Robert “Bob” D. Murphy of Barrington
Born July 6, 1963 in Lake Forest, passed away October 1, 2013 at his home in Barrington.
Bob was a loving, devoted, and actively involved father of three daughters, who were the light of his life. He was a cherished brother and uncle, and dear friend to many.
Bob was a Lacrosse America coach in the Barrington area and enjoyed spending time in Northern Wisconsin with his family.
Visitation will be 3 - 7pm Friday, October 4 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 337 Ridge Road, Barrington Hills, IL, where the Funeral Service will be at 10:30am Saturday, October 5. Interment will be private.
Bob is survived by his children; Virginia, Lillian, and Cecilia Murphy, sisters, Karen (David) Garrett, and Elizabeth “Lisa” Stamos, niece Lauren Stamos, nephew George Stamos, and dear friend Lea Ann Arehart. He was preceded in death by his parents Constance and David Murphy.
