Robert Preidis

Robert G. Preidis, 60, of Lake in the Hills died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at home with his family by his side. He was born December 8, 1954 in Columbus, OH to Frank and Mabel (nee McMarrow) Preidis.

Bob graduated from Brookhaven High School in Columbus and attended The Ohio State University. He worked for Sears Roebuck for over 43 years. On March 20, 1982 he married Mary Tieman. Together they raised 3 children, Beth, Gary, and Adam.

He was an avid bowler and is in the McHenry County Bowling Hall of Fame. You’d often find him at Crystal Bowl. He enjoyed golf and following the Ohio Buckeyes.

Besides his wife and children, Bob is survived by his Mom, Mabel; siblings, Nancy Dill, Frances Preidis, and Frank Preidis; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Frank.

Memorial visitation will start at 4 pm until the time of a Euology Service at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 26th, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. Please think of a funny memory of Bob to share. We all have one!

There will be a service in his hometown of Columbus at a later date where he will also be inurned at Union Cemetery.
