Colorado Springs, Colorado, previously of Edina, Minnesota,ROBERT C. ROOSEN Robert C. Roosen, age 78, of Colorado Springs, Co, previously of Edina, MN, joined the Lord on July 19, 2010. He is survived by his best friend of 27 years, former business partner and ministry colleague Troy Wiseman, who lives with his wife, Tina, and their four sons in Barrington Hills, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Coord Roosen; his mother, Marion Winslow (nee DaFoe); stepfathers, Henry Neils and Raymond Winslow; and sister, Virginia Meyer of Boca Raton, FL. Roosen was a Breck High School and University of Minnesota graduate, member of Chi Psi Fraternity, and an officer in the United States Air Force. He co-founded Continental Securities, Nutrition World, Camiz Sportswear, and World Orphans, that funded the construction of approximately 500 church-based orphan homes in 45 countries. Roosen also founded Mountain Life America, a Rocky Mountain Christian boys camp in Aspen Colorado and King of Kings Charitable Fund, a nonprofit that supports orphans as well as ministry bound young people needing assists in meeting certain financial needs as they prepare for full time ministry.
