Ellisville, Missouri, formerly of Milwaukee & Libertyville,ROBERT V. SCHWABE Robert V. Schwabe, 86, of Ellisville, MO, formerly of Milwaukee and Libertyville, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Ellisville. He was born April 10 1949 in Milwaukee, he was united in marriage to Joyce D. Belot. During World War II, he proudly served in the US Marine Corp. He was a 1949 graduate of Marquette University. He worked for A&P Tea Company in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Indianapolis, for many years. Survivors include his beloved wife Joyce D. Schwabe; his loving children, Cheryl L. (John) Johnson, Robert B. (Maribeth) Schwabe, and David J. (Barbara) Schwab; his cherished grandchildren, Jennifer and Molly Johnson, Megan (Mark) DeMint, Ryan and Erin Schwabe, and Kayleigh, Tucker, Taylor and Lindsey Schwab; a dear sister-in-law Beverly Schwabe; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James, and a sister, Jeanne (James) Olson. The visitation will be held Saturday, November 20 at 9am at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rte 176), Crystal Lake, with funeral prayers at 10:30 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 410 1st St., Cary IL with Fr. Steve St. Jules as the Celebrant. After the Mass, burial will be at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Schwabe?s name may be made to Alzheimer?s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011 or alz.org.
