Robert Scot Storms

Robert Scot Storms, age 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

Robert, known as Bobby to family and Stormy to friends, was born in Monsey, NY on December 16, 1960. He loved the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. He spent his career in Finance and, in retirement, enjoyed day trading. A favorite of his nephews, Uncle Bobby could always be counted on for fun at any time. He was a loyal friend with an open heart and greetings for all.

Robert is survived by his loving sister, Sharon (Ronald) Cobb; nephews, Ronald (Megan) Cobb, Andrew (Olivia) Cobb and Peter (Tia) Cobb; great-nephews, Ronnie, Joey and Peter; his Aunt Billie (the late Anthony) Prizio; and cousin Gay Prizio of Westchester County, New York.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William S. Storms and Joyce Berlanti Storms; brother, William C. Storms; his dear uncle, Anthony “Bud” Prizio; and cousin, Joy Prizio.

A memorial visitation for Robert will be held from 9:30am until the time of mass at 10:30am on Friday, November 15, 2024, at St. Anne Catholic Community, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, IL. Please join the Family for a Celebration of Life at Docks Bar and Grill, Wauconda immediately after the Funeral Mass.

 In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
