Robert Witwicki

Robert D. Witwicki, of Oakwood Hills, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the age of 70.
He was born October 17, 1945 in Chicago to Anthony and Sophie (nee Skoczylos) Witwicki.
Bob was a proud US Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed softball, bowling, and golf, but most of all he will be fondly remembered for his humor and generosity.
In addition to his loving wife, Phillis, whom he married on November 13, 1982, Bob is survived by his loving son, Rob (Theresa) Witwicki; his cherished grandchildren, Madelynn, Ava, and Anthony Witwicki; and his cousin, Chet (Jeanne) Czysen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Beatrice Robson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 3-8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Visitation will continue the following day, Monday, December 28, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St., Barrington. Interment will be private.
