Robert "Bob" Riehle, Sr.

Robert "Bob" Riehle, 67, passed away on July 27, 2020 of pulmonary complications following open heart surgery. Bob was an amazing guy who had many interests including fishing, tinkering with cars, and home remodeling. A deep and abiding love between Bob and his wife, Kathy, was palpable to any observer. He was the loving father of Kendra (Dan) Robinson, Bob Riehle Jr., Erik (Emily) Riehle, and Dennis (Jayme) Riehle. He was stepfather to Jason (Jen) Satriano and the late Karie (Tony) Cotillo. Bob was the cherished grandfather of Katrina, Corinne, Addison, Derik, Daaron, Emrik, Dennis Jr., Faolin, Sierra, Tyler, and Annalise, and family friend, Trevor. Bob was the youngest of 8 children of Albert and Norma Riehle and survived by his loving sisters, Diane (Art) New, Darlene (the late Dick) Kunkel, and Nancy Kapel. He was preceded in death by Charlotte Link, Albert Riehle, Marilyn Salyers, and Dennis Riehle. Bob was recently retired from Davis Imperial Cleaners in Chicago and was looking forward to his retirement. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, from 4:00pm until the time of his Funeral Service at 7:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, Barrington. Interment will be held on Saturday, August 1 at 11:00am at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
